   Re:Temptation

   DECEPTION

   The evil spirit
   deceitfully lures us–

   into the past
   to agonize
   in the land of
   “if only”–

   and beckons us
   into the future
   to agonize
   in the land of
   “what if?”

   trying to distract us
   from our loving God
   who is always in the
   present moment
