Finally, I will be leading a reflection group on the weekly lenten readings every Monday of Lent at Thomas Berry Place here in Jamaica, New York. Starts at 9:30 AM with 15 minutes silent reading of the week’s lenten scriptures, then shared reflections till 10:30 AM.

There’s a Mass at II AM for those who wish to participate in the monastery public chapel, All welcome.

The Passion of Jesus is a wise and tender book that reveals God to us. “Taste and see the goodness of the Lord” this Lent.

Father Victor, your commitment and service to God and His people…blows me away!! The retreat you gave on 2/5/2025…and what I learned from you and witnessed from you is still the subject of my spiritual direction sessions! Psalm 51…I keep close to my heart as ever!!

God love you, and God willing I will be attending your Lenten reflection groups and Mass afterwards on the Mondays of Lent, starting March 10th!!

P.S. I can still see “Victor” wearing his garden hat and holding (and tapping on the floor) his walking cane, teaching us what it means to be a Synodal Church!!
