Your reflection takes me back to a beautiful evening twenty years ago when time and life were different from today’s plugged-in world which tells us a lot of what we neither need or want to know, taking us away from Here and Now.
Walking Home from Melody’s House
A hanger-on March wind
chills this lovely April evening
and sends a raspy-voiced old autumn leaf
shuddering across the sidewalk
in front of me,
telling me that
autumn and winter are past,
summer is yet to be,
and in the beautiful Here of Now,
it’s Spring!
