Ha! I love that picture and the few words. The garden is my favorite image in John’s gospel, especially ending with Mary Magdalene. We can all say….’it is so much better’. I am enjoying playing with Van Gogh’s picture – a gate left open, the little hand that reaches out to a father who reaches back, a friendly tree, no pains of childbirth with this mother, no troublesome sweat for this father. It seems the Gardener has passed through and made things right for those in his garden.

Wow! That’s my favorite work at the NY Met! When I felt no God in my life He sent me my son, Francisco. This little child was a holy object to me. I didn’t know what to make of him!
