Today we went to Nazareth, very early, but it was worth it. We were among the first at the Basilica of the Annunciation for Mass and could enjoy the quiet of this holy place. Much of old Nazareth, where Jesus was raised, lies under the basilica and some of it is evident at the place where we celebrated Mass.
Then we went to Cana where some renewed the marriage vows.
Attentively we listened to our guide, Joseph, a native Palestinian Christian, who lives not far from Capernaum and tends a farm there along the Sea of Galilee.
We had a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.
But, hey, you get tired of all this.

Those of us taking the pilgrimage vicariously through your posts don’t get tired of it, though it looks like some of the real pilgrims might from time to time!

Fr. Victor,
I just heard you were doing this, and called Fr. X to ask how to find your blog. How awesome!
I haven’t read through this all yet, but I will now. I’m also going to forward this link along to many others who have been asking me for it, and who I know will also enjoy following you all.
Tell the Group I send my Best Regards. Especially my Pop! 🙂
